About this set of tables:

This matching set of tables was made from a single cherry board, glued up and then cut into two continuous sections. Both are paired with three-rod hairpin legs in clear-coated steel.

Additional details:

• Made by Gus Mitchener Woodworking in Salt Lake City, Utah.

• Tabletops are constructed from solid wood, all corners have been sanded by hand and are smooth to the touch.

• Tabletops are finished with hand-applied Osmo Polyx, a German Hardwax-Oil made with natural vegetable oils and waxes that is safe for pets, plants, and people. This is our favorite finish. It does a great job of protecting the wood while showing off its natural beauty. Highly durable and long lasting, it resists water, dirt, and common household spills. It’s also easy to spot repair and renew as needed.

• Each table comes with a set of four hairpin legs (14” & 16”) in clear-coated steel with matching rubber feet. Made by Hairpin Leg Co., the leg shape is a slimline flute and sits at a slightly reclined angle, based on the original hairpins designed by Henry Glass in the 1940s. They’re sturdy, well-finished, come in a variety of colors and sizes, and the best we have found.

• Simple assembly required when shipped. Hardware and instructions included, holes for installing legs have been predrilled.

• Ready to ship to the Continental US or pick up locally in Salt Lake City, Utah (by appointment).
